The Thoreson Farm and Its Neighbors—Images & Recollections from Port Oneida

This latest in the Images & Recollections from Port Oneida series is based mainly on the oral history interviews and photo collection of Leonard Thoreson. Leonard tells about about his ancestors’ early years on the farm, his parents’ lives, and his own boyhood there. There are several maps showing various aspects of the old farm, useful for exploatory visits.

Also covered are the neighboring Fred & Ellen Miller Farm; the Watkins Cottage; the Brunson Farm; and the Millington Farm, with photos & information provided by members of those families. An audio CD is included, providing excerpts from Leonard’s oral history interviews.

The 36-page, 8 1/2” x 11” book with audio CD sells for $19. As with all the books, if you buy from me, I’ll pay the sales tax.
